Tanya Boigenzahn, ERYT-500, C-IAYT, RTT, CHTP, AYS, YACEP, Reiki MasterTanya Boigenzahn fell in love with yoga and healed her body in the early 90s and has found her calling as a Yoga Teacher in 1996. She has meditated since age 15, and has a daily practice that includes chanting, movement, meditation, and gratitude. Tanya devotes her life to sharing the gifts of yoga, wellness and well-being with clarity, ease, and joy while keeping in mind the constant evolution of the soul. As a “teacher’s teacher,” Tanya blends her studies of the Sacred Rivers of Hatha Yoga, Tantra, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy, and Energy Medicine in each offering. She also strives to help students uncover their highest potential though tapas (purification & discipline), stiram (steadiness in body/mind) and sukham (maintaining a healthy sense of humor or ease during practice).

She is also the Founder/Director of Devanadi Yoga and Thai Yoga Bodywork, LLC.Tanya has traveled and lived in a variety of foreign places from London to San Francisco, and has called Minneapolis, MN her home since 2001. Through this wisdom, Tanya specializes in helping students create a therapeutic practice based on their physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs as well as live a purposeful life connected to dharma (purpose).Despite all the “accomplishment” as a yoga and wellness educator, Tanya shines in her ability to make the isosteric teachings of yoga accessible – and fun! - to everyone.

She has lived a yogic lifestyle for many years, and brings her insight as a “householder yogi” to everything she does – being a full time single mom, business owner, homeowner, and student of this thing we call LIFE. In other words, Tanya makes yoga “real” and aims to live her life as an example of a modern yogini in today’s world. Also multi-certified in many styles of Energy Medicine and Thai Yoga Bodywork, Tanya has served on the Executive Council of the Thai Healing Alliance (THAI), and is also a internationally recognized bodywork teacher. She offers one of the only multi-level certification program in Thai Yoga Bodywork in the USA and trains students in Devanadi’s Reiki Master Program. She leads retreats to Thailand, India and Costa Rica for other like-minded students and loves sharing the gifts of yoga with all people.Tanya lives next door to her school in Minneapolis, MN with her son, River. They love to play baseball, travel, and bike around the Minneapolis Lakes.

She also loves to hike, sing karaoke, and spend time with friends. You might catch her out playing trivia (sometimes winning!) or cooking a delicious curry!Tanya was named one of Origin Magazine’s “Top 100 Yogis Changing the World” in the Powerful Leaders issue and is one of top viewed teachers on YogaInternational.com.
